Work-In-Progress: Send Me

“I begin with an idea and then it becomes something else.” – Pablo Picasso

This is my dream cover for the sequel to Secret Places. In the novel, Debo gets a taste of the missionary life he’s always wanted by travelling to Nigeria.

Making these visuals helps my writing process so I’m hoping this would convince my muse that I mean business. If I ever cross your mind, please say a prayer for me. Thanks.

Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Short Story: Knit Together

knit-together-kindle-cover-twoHello people. Trust your weekend is going well. It’s a hot one at my end of the world so staying close to my fan. Sharing a cover for a short story I’m working on.

First talked about this last August but life happened and my characters decided they weren’t ready to feature in a novel.

The question for this story is, “How does one navigate life after a good deed surrogacy goes wrong?”

The inspiring scripture: Psalm 139:13-16 New International Version (NIV)

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Thanks for sticking by me.

Wearing Masks

This image reminds me of Secret Places. Moni, Sam, Debo and Adele know what life behind a mask feels like. If you’ve read it, I’ll appreciate a brief, honest review on Amazon. If you’re yet to, there’s never a bad time to get lost in a book.
